Classes: Made by Pokehunter
Classes will be changed, so keep an eye out for this section. In addition, players will have to go on quests to earn their class gear. Note: When you chose a class you start at the lowest rank!Knight: The knight is a chivilrous protector of humanity and the common good. They often travel the lands from their strongholds, helping the innocent. As a Knight you should help anyone you come across that is in trouble.
Squire: The squire is someone who has just started out on the path of Knighthood. He is usually apprenticed to another knight. (Game play: A squire must either complete the two squire quests in order to become a knight, or "apprentice" himself to another player who is a full Knight. If the Squire apprentices himself, he helps and serves the knight until the knight thinks he is ready to become a full knight, at which point they tell me.)
Equipment: Sword
Knight: The knight is a fully fledged warrior. Clad in powerful iron armor, their attacks are almost unstoppable. They have a detailed knowledge of how to defeat every foe they come across. (Game play: A knight is someone who has finished the squire quests/apprentice ship. In order to advance to the next level, they need to complete the Tests of Knighthood quests. A knight will be expected to fully roleplay.)
Equipment: Sword and Armour
Paladin: The paladin is an elite knight and force of good. Protected by a complete suit of full plate, they travel the land in search of worthy foes. Often, they will settle down in one spot and make a castle from which they form their own bands of knights.
Equipment: Full suit of iron armor, steel sword and axe.
Ranger: The ranger is a wanderer, who has no set home. They travel across the land, using their wits to survive. As a ranger you should avoid making your home in any city. An aversion of this would be using the ranger as a hunter, but only for a rural town.
Apprentice: An apprentice is someone still learning how to be a ranger. They will learn how to shoot, how to fight, and how to sneak and move through the forest. (Game play: To become a full ranger the apprentice needs to complete the 3 Ranger quests.)
Equipment: Leather Cap
Ranger: Now a fully fledged ranger, this former apprentice is capable of firing accurately from a great distance and attacking from behind, as well as knowing how to sneak around without being seen.
Equipment: Leather Tunic and Cap, Bow, 10 arrows.
Guardian: The guardian is that standard heavy defense class. The guardian is someone who specializes in defensive fighting. They are often leaders of a town guard because of their vast experience in defending their homes and living places.
Shieldbearer: The shield bearer is someone learning the art of becoming a guardian. The shieldbearer learns how to fight defensively, and use their superior armor to their advantage. They also train with the axe and sword. (Game play: To become a full guardian the shieldbearer must complete the 3 Guardian quests.)
Equipment: Diamond Helmet, stone axe
Guardian: The guardian is a devestating opponent. His heavy armor protects him against the most powerful of blows, and his axe is just as capable as a sword of killing his opponent.
Equipment: Diamond Helmet and Chestplate, steel axe
Tradesman: The tradesman travels from town to town, city to city, peddling his wares. He often has a vast assortment of trinkets and home equipment. The tradesman is a sociable person who enjoys company. They will often be found in towns.
Equipment: Three non-tool/weapons (blocks, ore, etc. Only up to two diamonds, and no ore blocks.) and an extra 25 Czars (coin) to help them one their way.
Barbarian: The barbarians of the land are the natives who lived here long before the colonists arrived. Stereotypically uncultured and bearded, they are fierce warriors who live in tightly knit clans. They avoid "civilization" at all costs.
Barbarian Warrior: The Barbarian Warrior is the standard defender of his clan. Skilled with light armor and blunt weapons, the warrior is capable of defeating even the most heavily armored opponent with his flurry of blows. (Game play: Must complete the 4 Barbarian quests to advance to Champion)
Equipment: Leather Chestplate and Helmet, stone axe.
Barbarian Champion: The Barbarian Champion is the strongest of his clan. Equiped with axes made from the rare green stones that the barbarians occasionally find on the surface, their berserker rages are almost unstoppable attacks.
Equipment: Full leather armor, Steel Axe.
Blackguard: The Blackguard is the evil version of the knight. They never stay in any neuteral or good alligned towns, instead making their dark strongholds with others of their ilk. They are a Knight's mortal enemies.
Blackguard: The Blackguard is the typical villain: he kills families, <censored for age suitability>: does mean things the women, and then kicks their cat. The Blackguard is the hated foe of the Knights. A blackguard is any generic rogue that prowls the lands of the world looking for suitable victims. (Game play: The blackguard is not a nice person, but they have not totally gone "off the edge." It is advisable, though of course, not required, that you do not go totally overboard. Unless you happen to want to procede to the next "level..." The 3 Blackguard quests are required for this.
Equipment: Iron sword, leather tunic.
Black Knight: There is mean, and then there is pure, unadulterated evil. The Black Knight is this. Where the knight is a protector of the innocent, a black knight goes out of his way to harm them. To help them in their tasks, the black knight is given powerful weapons to kill anyone that opposes them.
Equipment: Steel sword, Iron chestplate.
